CrossFit Stony Brook is Back!!!


Join us for Parking Lot Workouts!


We know this is not what we were expecting for Phase 4 BUT we are excited that we are going to be able to workout again and see all of you in person! It has been a LONG 17 weeks!


We also know this is going to be an adjustment for all of us, but we are CrossFit Stony Brook Strong and we will make it happen!


Our Opening Day has been pushed back just a little as we make some adjustments to accommodate the outside workouts. It is this Saturday, July 11th!! The schedule for the first week is below… please be patient with us as we will be adjusting this accordingly while members are able to make it back and we get into a new groove.


Unfortunately, we no longer have a date as to when we can open our gym on the inside. As you are all aware, the Governor has changed the types of businesses that can open under Phase 4. At this point we are restricted to outside workouts only. Our Awesome coaches are prepared for this and we are going to make sure you all get the kickass workouts you deserve and expect to receive from us!


Important things to know:


1) Opening Date: Saturday, July 11th. We will continue running the current Zoom Schedule through Friday.


2) Class Workout Location: Empty Parking lot (where the busses used to park). When coming into the Industrial Park and you come down the little hill instead of making a right at the Stop Sign (Atelier Art would be right in front of you) you make a left and go to the big empty parking lot at the end of the building. Michael will make a video this week showing the parking lot.


3) Personal Training Location: will be directly in front of the gym UNLESS you and a coach discuss a different location.


4) SIGNING UP for a Class will be required. Directions are as follows:


a. Download Zenplanner app from app store
b. Sign in – Your login is your email you have on file with us. Use the forgot my password function to reset. If you need to change your email you have on file with us just let me know.
c. The classes are listed on the calendar, you can scroll through the days. Please check and make sure you sign up for the correct class. If you cannot make it please cancel your reservation so someone else has an opportunity to sign up


5) PLEASE BE ON TIME!!! If you get there early, please wait in your car until your class time. This is to help make sure the previous class has left and we have time to clean the equipment.


6) Masks will be required when arriving, setting up and listening to the warmup/WOD but once you are in your designated workout area masks are not required for the actual workout.


7) Social Distancing will be required so please keep this in mind. Please no gatherings of small groups before or after the WOD’s and keep in mind that some may be more relaxed about the current situation while others may be nervous, we want to make sure ALL are comfortable.
